Ms. Saran has over 15 years of experience in early childhood education. She has worked with low-income care providers as well as programs for students with disabilities. She holds a AA degree in Early Childhood Education and completed BA coursework from State College of Florida. Ms. Saran was the administrative assistant to the program director of Children First, the Headstart-designee in Sarasota county, for 10 years. During that time, she assisted in grant writing of federal and local grants through Headstart, the Community Foundation of Sarasota, among others.
